Product Description


More than a table, a sculpture, a perfect union of beauty and harmonious proportions. Presented at the 2015 Milan Furniture Fair and winner of different awards: Iconic Design Award 2015,Good Design Award 2016, Red Dot Award for the 2016 Product Design category. The meeting of two volumes achieves a perfect balance of one over the other. Table with base in rigid polyurethane and top of MDF covered with hand-spread materic finish.

For nearly 30 years, Desalto has spread worldwide an idea of an aesthetically sophisticated product based on constant technical and technological research focused on greater functionality.Thirty years of activity make Desalto a young but also time - honoured brand. Of both dimensions Desalto is titled. A young spirit capable of combining iconic seating and complements, like graphic signs sketched in the air, with tables as adaptable as everyday life is. But also a story which began in 1990 when the four Orsenigo brothers - the heirs of a metalworking family company - envisaged a firm that would be more in step with the times and, from the very beginning, called on the cooperation of established or up-and-coming designers. Different visions which engage with the same corporate philosophy that is continually updated through fundamental values of harmony, expressive elegance, clean designs and originality.

Marc Krusin

Marc Krusin

Marc Kursin, born in London in 1956, graduated in Great Britain and worked for Fred Scott and George Sowden afterwards. His career began later in Milan, where he cooperated with different studios, among them the Piero Lissoni studio, which made him the design manager and partner.He is one of the co-founders of the Codice Group 31 in Milan in 1998, reaching deciding influence in the following years in the design world. Marc Krusin started with the design of products and furniture one year later in 1999, but still working at strongly experimental projects.Marc Krusin cooperated with Knoll at a series of products, among them the WA-desk system and the interior furnishing of the Knoll exposition rooms.
